If you encounter an instance where EMiR is not responding, you may need to force close the programme to restart it.

You can do this by accessing Task Manager, selecting EMiR and clicking 'End Task'. 

Task Manager can be accessed in a few ways:

• Press Ctrl + Alt + Delete and select Task Manager
• On Windows 10, you can also search for the Task Manager App in the search bar at the bottom left of your screen.
• If you are on Windows 7, you can also click the Windows icon in the bottom left corner and then select the Task Manager tile.
